Will Mandaue City ever see the Light?
Will my beloved city ever see the light? Traffic Light, that is... Pursuant to its charter, Mandaue City is an Industrialized City. In the Cebu Province, it is supposed to come second to the City of Cebu in terms of development. This city of mine has so much to offer and has a promising economy. However, plying its streets would make one wonder, how come we never have a decent traffic light?
It has been years and several mayoral terms ago since I last recall that the traffic lights are working. The picture above is the A.S. Fortuna intersection. One of the busiest streets of the city and yet it does not have a proper traffic lighting system that at least help moderate the traffic.

it STaRTS with ME
And so, today is the first day of the next six (6) years for everyone. Yesterday, i had the goose bumps as a watched the formal turnover of leadership which carried hope for every Filipino in this country.
President Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III promises to do his best to address all problems of the government and I believe him. But I don't think that he can do it..alone that is. I believe that in order to bring change in this country, each of us must do his share. Inspired by P.Noy's speech that he will serve as an example, I have finally activated this blog as means of doing my share for this country.
Beginning today and with my pink camera in tow, i will be fearless trod the streets of metro and capture ill moments of society or inspiring ones so i can post it in my site. And beginning today, i shall do my best to observe Alex Lacson's 12 Little Things Every Filipino can do for his Country..after all, it should start with me.
